Opening Day Collections


Rainbow Book Company is available to assist in the compilation of the Opening Day Collection for your new or renovated school library. In addition to our long standing expertise in assisting media specialists amass an opening day list, we are also using collection analysis software to assist in the compilation of opening day collections. By using this software, we are able to examine and analyze the most appropriate Dewey ranges for the school and its demographics. In the case of a renovation, this is also an invaluable tool in analyzing a libraries current collection in order to determine what areas are in need of weeding and what areas are most in need of additional titles in relation to the available budget.

Thereafter, as soon as the school library is ready to receive the books, the collection will be shipped immediately to the school.
